Jesse’s Web Page for EDED 5310
My name is
Jesse Leyba. I received my Bachelor’s
Degree in Finance in the spring of 1994.
When I was a freshman in college (Fall 1998), Texas A&M-Kingsville
was called Texas A&I University.
That’s right! It took me 6 years
to receive my BBA (Ha! Ha!). I’ve
worked at First Data Corporation in Corpus Christi since July of 1995. My title is Quality Assurance Analyst for
the American Express product. I’m
currently enrolled in the Alternative Certification Program at TAMUK. My goal is to become a teacher in the field
of Mathematics/Science for grades 4th-8th. I would love to teach in my hometown of
Kingsville, but I will teach wherever there is a reasonable opportunity. My philosophy on teaching is to attract
students’ interests so they want to learn the subject that is being
taught.
Another philosophy of mine is if we all hit the
we will get an
in whatever class we take.
When a student passes the required courses for a degree the next
thing that comes is
and a secure job.
